  • It should be relevant to Sri Lanka.
  • It should contain original work done by the applicant.

  • Submissions will be reviewed by two experts in the relevant field, appointed by the Executive Committee of SLAFAR, and their decision is final.
  • The outcome of the submission will be informed to the orator, in-writing, soon after the completion of the review process. Anonymity will be maintained until the orator is announced.
  • If reviewers decide that the submitted oration scripts do not meet the required standard, then the reviewers together with the Executive Committee of SLAFAR should invite orations from individuals who have been experts in the relevant area. However, the above guidelines should be followed when deciding on the invited orator.
