• SLAFAR, in collaboration with CCCRMD, proudly wrapped up this exclusive hands-on training on Responsible Snorkeling & Shallow Coastal Sampling in Polhena.
• Our participants didn’t just snorkel – they stepped into the role of a marine scientist.

Led by Prof. P.B. Terney Pradeep Kumara, Dr. Gayani Thilakarathna, and their incredible team, everyone gained practical skills in:

Laying transects
Identifying key species
Low-impact sampling
Citizen science techniques
